Yesterday I found this place not too far from where we live called the back wall forgotten home. There were pictures and everything, but when we got there and searched around we couldn't find what we were looking for. Today we came up with the idea of visiting a local park called Markham Park at night in the woods to still give the film opening the abandoned feel and thriller aspects, except it will be legal to be here and film without worrying about getting arrested. I will post some pictures tomorrow when we go visit the location and hopefully we can begin storyboarding tomorrow as well.

It's a real bummer that the abandoned prison won't work out. It happens though, good thing you have a sufficient amount of time and it at least probably sparked some new ideas for a plot or a location. I am still not comprehending if whether or not your team has a storyline or if that is yet to be thought about once you find your ideal location. I am curious to know what will happen and how many characters are involved. It is something to definitely think about if you have not already. It's crucial to start thinking about and elaborating about it on your blog.
ReplyDeleteI really like the new abandoned place you have found but I'm confused. It sucks that you couldn't find it. Are you giving up on that location? Is it still there? No matter what location you end up using it will cause suspense and fear. Markham is pretty spooky at night since it's so lonely, quiet and dark. That'd be a great option. Anxious to see some pictures to capture your idea!
